Cancelling your horse ride affects our business significantly as we have often turned away other customers to secure your spot. Most of our guests reserve their horse ride well in advance so it is difficult to replace a reservation at late notice and for this reason our policy is strictly adhered to.

Atlantic Shores Riding Stables has adapted to the standard policies to reflect the current uncertainties in travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Deposits collected to confirm bookings will be considered fully transferable or refundable without penalty if you contact us by phone or email up to 24 hours before your scheduled excursion.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice is not refundable.
If travel restrictions or other COVID-19 related complications keep you from your intended trip, we will refund your deposit less transaction fees by our bank or your card company.
 If we cancel your ride due to inclement weather, a full refund or a reschedule will be offered. Late arrivals will have reduced saddle time in order for us to be able to stay on schedule.
This gives us time to book other guests to fill these slots or for the taxi company to reschedule other passengers for their services. They will expect payment from us if we don’t give them reasonable notice of cancellation

Cancellation Policy

  • We will try our best to reschedule rides based on availability. No refunds will be issued if a ride cannot be rescheduled after exhausting all options.

  • Please note that deposits are also used to secure your taxi to and from the cruise port or your hotel. Any cancellations in this regard also results in charges applied to us by the respective taxi companies.

  • Our rides go out in all safe weather conditions, rain or shine. In the event that a cancellation is made by Atlantic Shores Riding Stables, for any reason, all deposits and/or any part of the total balance that had been paid to us will be refunded in full in the same manner in which it was originally paid.

  • All riders must complete a Rider Registration/Indemnity Form before riding a horse. Parents will sign for all children below the age of 18 years.

  • Guests who are intoxicated will not be allowed to ride a horse and will lose their refund. No consumption of alcohol or use of any drugs are allowed during a ride or on the premises.

  • For the safety of our guests and for the health of our horses we have a safety weight restriction of 230lbs and this limit will strictly be adhered to.

  • Bookings are accepted on the basis that riders do not suffer from any illness or disability which would risk their safety on the trail.

  • We reserve the right to withdraw any person who in our opinion is likely to endanger themselves or others. We also reserve the right to cancel a ride if we become concerned for any reason for the safety of anyone on the ride.

  • We won’t be held responsible for lost/damaged electronics or other valuables. Please secure all electronics like GoPros properly before you ride out. We recommend leaving jewelry and valuables in a safety box at your hotel or cruise ship.

  • Our horses might get nervous around drones so it’s best to reserve a private ride if you plan on using any large video recording device.

  • No selfie sticks allowed whilst riding. Horses can get spooked by these items. Always pay attention to your horse,the terrain and trail ahead of you.
